As long as you don't sit there complaining about other people not prioritizing you, there's nothing wrong with having priorities and talking about them. The people I get annoyed with the most are the ones who gush unequally about their games or people they play with only to turn around and cry about how nobody prioritizes them. There's a lot of hypocrisy in this hobby. I think some people don't even realize they're doing it to the extent they do.
Why? Hometrail had great aesthetics, but the premise really was 'you're stuck in an enclosed vehicle you can't control and every x days you get out and visit a town where there's an event.' If they had set it in a sci fi spaceship it would've been utterly unmemorable.
Raw beat Smackdown last week, but Smackdown was the better show this week. The promos were on fire, the triple threat was entertaining, the main event was awesome, American Alpha's debut was awesome (except for the Vaudevillains), Brock Lesnar's payback seemed natural, and they've found a way to get proper heat on Eva Marie. The only downside was what they did with Carmella and Natalya.
You probably just notice the flakes who are good writers more.
When a good writer drops your thread it's annoying and you may have been actively waiting on a reply to that thread because it was so good. You're also more likely to have tagged out to them in the first place.
If a bad or mediocre writer drops a thread, you probably weren't really looking forward to their next tag anyways, nor making an effort to tag out to them.
