methinks anon is referring to element_wizard, her godawful oc of choice (or maybe one of the million variants of him kippur has because she's that kind of oc player)
as for specifically wanky stuff, i seem to remember her teaming up with some other wanker in a wannabe coup of ten-fwd not too long ago. can't remember if it failed or she succeeded only for ten-fwd to die anyway, but either way i definitely remember her stabbing some people in the back
i'm in favor of reverse prompt memes in general if for no other reason than at least they don't produce another generic sea of toplevels like every other meme
plus the regular prompt memes are just completely flake central
honestly if it was just cleavage that would be fine. but the super intense underboob is what makes her design so stupid looking. and that's not even getting into magilou's weirdass book skirt and alisha's knight-hot-pants from zestiria, which people complained about too.
yeah, it might be par for the course when it comes to jrpgs these days, but that doesn't mean it's not unnecessarily sexualized and unworthy of criticism.
got a really clingy pm from a certain www player after i made the colossal mistakes of posting to sws, gushing over how great my character was, all the stuff they wanted to do with them when i really had only tagged them back to be polite
ignored, got another pm a day later. then another. then i blocked and never posted to sws again
Finally watched the first few seasons of TW not too long ago, thought it was kind of fun. Went to try tagging in memes thinking Stiles would be fun for banter and mischief and snark.
I tried tagging so many hoping there'd be a good one. They are all 100% terrible, ooc, and only in it for the insta-dick. I am disappoint.
"But as for things to play and whatnot, I'm not really that much of a fan of too much negative cr (I can handle some, but too much is just burnout), which is why I'm in a relatively lax sol game."
she's basically saying here, 'as for things i'd like to play, i don't really want to do TOO MUCH negative cr'. reading comprehension and reading in-between the lines therefore implies that she's up for other things and a little bit of negative cr is fine
no women have shit going on, you dirty liar. don't you know, it's all about the d?
(had a similar experience, actually, and found it equally weird. there was plenty there in the character all along. not sure why they only saw it in my rp.)
people here think they're slick masking their racism by saying that they "just don't like animanga because the archetypes are a little too in-your-face" but yeah. basically what they're trying to say is that only western media has characters deep enough for them. those whacky japanese just don't write complex characters. (inb4 somebody tries to claim that there are complex animanga characters but they're not the ones people play in dwrp, followed by an entry-level list of series that would only impress people who don't fucking watch anime.)
don't even get me started on stuff that has fanservice, as if fanservice somehow magically voids all instances of meaningful characterization.
considering how many people complain about a game environment being unwelcoming and unfriendly i'm having a hard time seeing how the opposite is a bad thing.
not interested in apping into a sex game. if i was i'd want one that had people in it who sounded like they liked their own game instead of one like coa or amat where there was nothing but hate and bickering in the anon threads all the time and it was obvious a lot of it came from inside the game since both of them were locked.
If you have legitimate issues with a player, tell the fucking mods. Give them evidence they can use to help you.
Even if they choose not to preemptively ban (and I can totally understand that, because sometimes people do change their behavior or wank can be fabricated by determined grudgewankers, I've seen both happen and sometimes obnoxious players can be very easy to avoid and letting them play in their own little corner turns out fine), this means they know that player's problem behavior. It means they know what to look out for and to keep that player in check if they start showing those same signs. If players already in the game can also report that same behavior going on after they get in, its much easier for the mods to take action.
Talk to the mods. Voice your concerns. And don't get your panties in a twist just because they didn't outright ban player x. If you're a potential player, let them know about your previous issues with them so that if you do app in you can easily go to them again if the same issues arise. Show that you've put in your effort to avoid them and that they've still caused the same issues as you previously showed them. If you're a current player that's had issues with them in the game, tell them. The mods are your friends and will be on your side once you give them something they can work with.
so basically, some people have had great interactions with smut players and their characters.
some people have had shitty interactions with smut players and their characters.
both groups think their experience trumps everybody else's because...reasons.
the only valid thing to be said here is you need to get over it. there will always be people that people like more than they like you. you aren't always going to agree with their reasons. be grateful for the people who enjoy playing with you and stop obsessing over being the "best" at writing somebody else's characters in make-believe worlds with a group of people who are mostly neither great nor terrible writers, because at the end of the day it's just a hobby. hopefully you have more than one.
