- Mod screams that people bitch anonly instead of bringing game concerns to her un-anon

- People start bringing concerns, admitting they felt dismissed last time they gave game crit in person.

- Mod has panic attack because crit.

isn't the mod peeve thread for mods bitching about their games/players?

go make a far shore thread for this

(Anonymous) 2016-11-25 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
it can be used for both, so how about you shut up?

da

No, you're wrong. It's mod apostrophe s. As in the possessive. As in the pet peeves of mods.

If it was just "Mod pet peeves" it could go either way, but it's not. Usually people complaining about a mod do it in the game's thread or the game pet peeves.

Way to be a rude fuck when you actually did post in in the wrong place.

and yet look at the main post, where it's mods', which implies the pet peeves of mods or the pet peeves at mods.

so, you know... still. shut the fuck up. i also wasn't the anon that originally posted about the mod, so... continue to shut the fuck up.

lmfao this section still has almost always been mods complaining about players. And "mods'" is still a possessive. If it was about pet peeves about mods it'd just be "Mod pet peeves."

And you're still obnoxious and hyperdefensive over something as simple as people pointing out someone that you're claiming isn't even you posted to the wrong section.

i don't even care. i remember when it first went up and there was the debate over what it meant. was it peeving about mods? or peeving at mods? or mods peeving? doesn't really matter. there's so much cross shit on wg, you're literally being pedantic over where someone's complaining about something. is it a legitimate complaint? yes? then maybe shut up.

'wah, don't talk about another person in my namedrop thread. wah, don't talk about this game in this game's thread. wah, wah, wah.'

shut. up. or don't. i don't care. come talk about how defined wank needs to be. keep wanking. but i don't really care either way. someone (not me) posted about a mod of a game that's at least about rp and dwrp related. i'll take that over politic bullshit or talking about fat housewives or bad teeth on cats or personal shit no one needs to hear. if you want to be butthurt over it not being in the right fucking lane for bitching, maybe you need to go back to rpa where you can shit all over the place.

I remember that thread too. It ended with people agreeing it was for mods to complain because all other complaints from players could go in the game hate or game pet peeves threads.

"i don't even care but let me tell you how much i don't care"

When you really want to help get shit done and keep things running but someone else on the team isn't pulling any weight and it makes everything else limp along.

tittybabies. how do you deal with them?

years of experience in retail and customer service, tbh. whiny shitheads aren't unique to dwrp, and at least these ones are on the other side of an internet connection and can be banned if they get too insufferable.

Don't feed the tantrums. Read through the bullshit, see to the core issue, seek out supplemental info from other sides if it's a complicated topic or accusation. Stick to your guns and your guidelines you should've set up before the game opened.

They will NOT EVER stop crying, but they will get nowhere on your watch. More likely than not, so long as you stick to those guns, the brats will hang themselves with the rope they weaved and you'll have that fewer babes of the boob in your game.

I really appreciate all of the advice, anons. I'm not going to let this person get to me. I'll stick to my guns and if things get to be too much, then there's always banning them.

as other anons have said, stick to the rules and disciplinary guidelines I've set. enforce the rules on a consistent basis with everyone, including mods, and make it crystal clear that i'm there to run a game, not babysit.

this article (http://www.springhole.net/writing/dealing-with-unhappy-and-complaining-roleplayers.htm) might help. the website has solid advice on modding games in general.
