i don't know, i read the comics as a kid and it feels more to me that jughead was always ambiguously ace, they just didn't have a mainstream word for it or didn't care to put a label on him
maybe the writing isn't as smooth as it could be when they're addressing it in the modern comics but it's not like the old comics were the height of sequential art and literature either
Fuck that. If they don't say it is about RP, people are probably talking about the canon. No one should have to pussyfoot around not liking a character in the canon.
i think you're misremembering how much those comics could read like an after school special in the 90's depending on the writer and the topic. same shit, different era.
normally I'm with you on the mute button, but people keep replurking prthecrazyone over and fucking over like for fuck's sake if I want to follow them I will, please do not replurk every fucking thing they say.
I don't even mind selfie spam but I fucking hate when the person is spamming and also shooting down all comments with "omg nooo im so ugly god stooppp"
he even said 'i love you' in regards to a girl once, i think it was in the time police storyline. archie's distance relative or something. someone st. andrews? i'm too old for this shit.
okay, now you sound really fuckin suspect. archie comics, since the beginning, have had these kind of plots and mild afterschool special level social commentary. it was even more noticeable in the 80s/90s if you truly "grew up" with these comics.
google "archie social commentary" anon, this isn't obscure information. if you aren't talking out your ass to try and win an argument, you're at the very least not nearly as familiar with these books as you want to believe.
