When a player is warned about bad behavior, sounds like they have learned their lesson, & then makes a PP to bitch about it to other players & gloat about getting away with it. Idiots think nobody's going to report that to us? Think again. Someone always reports it. Always.

for people who do this: hot strategy, trust no one, not even yourself

don't even make the fucking PP unless it's private to you and only you.

nobody is going to laugh with you and be like "lol those stupid mods! your horrible rule breaking ass is totally on point lying to them!". they might do it to your face, but 99% of them are already reporting you. you cannot escape.

Yep. And, spoilers: if you're reading this and wondering if it might be about you, it sure is motherfucker. Treat your fellow players better and maybe they won't rat your punk ass out to me.

I absolutely hate when I see people complaining constantly about some aspect of the game or a situation or a player or something all over anon comms and get absolutely nothing about it in the mod inbox.

Come on, guys, I can't act as a mod if you don't bring the problem to me. Because people on anon comms could just as easily not be in the game at all or just blowing steam, but damn if sometimes it doesn't look like something that I should be waiting for a message about!

This. Mods can't fix problems if they don't know if it's not there - and using anoncomms isn't the fix, because they got no idea if it's legit complaint, someone trolling a thread, or a problem player blowing things out of proportion.

On top of that, players need to not assume mods are keeping tabs on anoncomms. I sure as hell don't, this is the first time I've glanced at wg in a week or two. I'm busy, I have a life on top of RP and modwork, checking anoncomms for complaints isn't even something that appears on my to-do list - much less something I do regularly.

If someone uses anoncomms as the sole place to vent their issues (and we all know there are people who do), there's a good chance my modteam will never see it at all, and even if we do we have no idea how legit the complaint is. Just PM us! Please!

if you can't be bothered to bring your problem to the anon-enabled mod contact and only cry on wg it means your complaint either is baseless shitstirrring or it's not important enough to be worth spending my time addressing

sadly in a post midsyn/crosscheck world, people don't necessarily trust situations not to go completely south if they post their complaints in an appropriate place.

i mean, they still SHOULD, because in both of those games meltdowns the mods were the ones being assholes, but still, that may explain people's hesitation these days.

so you're going to do a wrong thing because you think the mods from some other game did the wrong thing? what a shitty excuse. face your problems like an adult, you cowering manchild.

lmao calm down, i'm not encouraging bitching on an anoncomm, i'm saying why people may keep their complaints to themselves. and tbh, if this is your response to that, you may be the exact kind of mod don't want to bring their complaints to.

When you try to make instructions the simplest and clearest you can and a player still manages to mess it up.
