Depends on the characters, I think. One of mine has to take note of those if their CR does, but the others are more likely to ignore anything like that than they aren't.

I've watched mods dangle plot fodder in front of players like a parent desperately trying to get a child to eat their mashed potatos and in all but a few cases, the players just shuffled their feet and whined about how haaaaaard and cooooooomplicated the plot was.
It doesn't matter how many "results" the mods give if the players literally won't do anything to GET those results. Clues, monsters, it all adds up to zilch if the players won't pursue any of the options they've been given.
I even saw an event where the mods took time to tailor personal options for each character involved in the plot in question and it was met with a good 30% of those players either dropping off the face of the earth or whining about not having anything to do (despite having personalized choices laid out in front of them). The people who actually participated and played off of the clues they'd been given all seemed to have a pretty good time.
Yeah, there's shitty mods out there who can't run plots to save their lives, but it takes two to tango. Even the best-planned plot can fall through horrendously if the players don't hold up their end.

i once witnessed aforementioned frothing misandry first-hand when a mutual friend was having relationship problems with a guy she was dating. even though the complaints from said mutual friend were legit she used it as an opportunity to claim all men are evil scumbags and the guy's behavior was typical male behavior (not verbatim but basically what she was getting at). i'm a feminist too but i can tell you the kind of shit this guy was doing was stuff not exclusive to the male gender. you know women are capable of being assholes in relationships too.

yeah it surprises me because she should know better after being a fan of the series for so long that the art was bound to change. serial manga artist almost always get better the longer they're at it and okubo is a perfect example of that.

I only know of one but man that just makes it instantly better that there's more. I almost want the chance to see her really start going MEN ARE SCUM and have at least one of them go "whoa what the fuck" at her and watch her either fuck up those friendships royally or or backpedal like crazy.
I haven't played out one slice of life thing since I arrived in this game so idk what the anons are complaining about honestly. I've seen a couple of morons posting about baking a cake or whatever but the majority of stuff played out is horror or angst based, at least it is among myself and my CR.

Vou is one of the major reasons I fell out of love with the Homestuck fandom. She made being in it an exercise in constantly feeling judged and while I think some of her headcanons are fun the way she shits on you if you don't share them really makes me uncomfortable around her. Plus she always comes of as mean and judgemental no matter what she's doing.
Not to mention while some of her headcanons are interesting? The vast majority of them are shitty, especially related to shipping, and the way she woobifies and fetishizes the Sagittarius and Capricorn trolls makes me want to gag.
