Huh, interesting. I know I actually went through the Taken page at the time I was able to check, and searched the three Digimon I was given to choose from, and deliberately chose one that hadn't already been claimed... (only becase I was happy with all three potential choices, mind you. if I hadn't liked the choice that no one else had, then I'd've probably picked one that had been chosen already)

honestly you're better off not getting tagged by them. half of them are so ooc it's not even funny, so seriously it's not a loss. but i used to cringe each time i've gotten a tag from onthe_threshold. i eventually started to ignore him after he god moded one of my characters (autohit).they have also invested awaywithwords along with the glee clique.
but a clique in a dr, eh, kinda a moot point. nobody has to tag anyone they don't want to. there's no ac to make, no plot to push with folks you're not interested in playing with them.

yes, it is fair, because it's their plot and if a certain character's abilities would ruin the entire plot and not give anyone else the chance to do anything, that's not fair to all of the other people who want to participate.
this isn't an official game event. the player running a player plot has the right to pick and choose what characters get to be involved in it, for example things like the xion plot ages ago where only a certain number of characters got to fight her at each stage. when you play an extremely powerful character, you have to be ready for the fact that sometimes you're not going to be able to participate in things like that for the sake of making it fair for everyone else. otherwise only the powerful characters would ever get the spotlight in anything.

you mean the one at luceti? luceti doesn't completely suppress powers, just nerfs them. there's a teddy there from mcu and he still has his shape-shifting powers too.
So does this mean that, since the mods are okay with bending the rules for so people, that one of their buddies could easily app in an AU Celestia or another Twilight or whatever if they could convince them? That would seriously make me question their ability as mods and side-eye them.

I make enough to pay all my bills, and then some. I even have a nice little bit of saving in case anything comes up (about $3000)
If I lost my job? That'd be gone within a few months. If my car died, things would suddenly get tight for a few months. If there was a serious illness or injury...I have enough to cover that sort of emergency but things would be tight.
On the flip side I do also know plenty of people that money currently IS tight and they still make massive frivolous purposes. So there's that, too.
