not butt hurt. More curious really. I'm assuming you're talking memes because in a game it would be different. But yes, in memes I generally put some effort into my opening tags to strangers and try to suit the situation I invent to something their character could get involved with. People seem to respond well to it when I tag with popular characters and I often get tags from strangers when I post. Some of my characters aren't as well known though and those often don't get responses. I always wonder if it's me or the other rper. I don't feel insulted, just mildly curious if there was something I could have done differently to make it work. Sometimes there's a mild, brief disappointment because I wouldn't have tagged if I thought it didn't have potential and I'll avoid tagging them again simply because I assume they aren't interested. But there are always other rpers who will answer tags, usually for the same characters. It's just a process of finding people my writing jives with. They're the ones that really matter.
