nah, I don't think it's deep--but it's unfortunately rare to have a kids show with characters that are written that well, particularly one that focuses on girls. I can think of some that are aimed more at boys, or a mixed-gender cast (where girls are almost always the minority) but the sad thing is, I can't think of a girl's show that's like that beyond FiM.
