I can't speak for anyone else, but it's just the fact her sexuality comes up so much it's as if she actually has a very shallow grasp of the character, like "lesbians and vampires and fashion" is literally all there is to her Kanaya, any characterization outside of that is purely CRAU developed nonsense added onto it.

I mean compare it to the comic, Kanaya never mentions only being solely interested in girls concupiscently to anyone(as far as I remember, anyway!) and the confirmation we have of it is Hussie answering a question on his formspring regarding it, and then seeing her only interests in said quadrants are solely female, it becomes more obvious knowing that. It's like how before GamTer you could have argued Gamzee was only interested in guys, but we know that's not true

what I'm trying to say is her grasp of Kanaya's character seems very shallow and poor because she has reduced her to a really flanderized version of the actual character from the comic, then thrown in her personal views(such as ic'ly disliking rose just because the mun dislikes rosemary, on the basis of "disliking humanity" despite having no issues with almost any of the humans she has met so far except rose) on top of that to make something that barely resembles the character people actually want to rp with
