i have a character i have written incest with. i state that willingness in their profile, as well as a disclaimer stating that unless specifically given an okay for it, i won't go there. i figured that would pretty much cover my bases.

i have never been so wrong.

i've had castmates wig the fuck out at me because they see the incest in a meme thread or psl and then avoiding the crap out of me because they're afraid i'm going to force it on them and people pissed off because i played it somewhere else, why am i not playing that with them?!?!? even though they never said anything to indicate they were okay with it.
