Rip attacked and injured plenty of people in the log where she broke Duo's hand, and I foresee a ton of injuries this week when even the description of the event itself encourages electrical fires and electrocution. If you feel it's not creative enough for you, then do something more creative with your character during the event, but these sorts of events are meant to hurt characters. It's dumb to complain about it, well, hurting characters.
