even if my only exposure to batroc is from ye olde marvel adventures comics where his sound effects were things like LE PAF and LE BOK and everything was gloriously silly

Don't worry anon, most of my exposure is the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon where he says LEAP every time he jumps.
