i really enjoyed the pilot and hope to play someone from this
but goddamn the amount of elitism in this fandom from people who take grave offense to the fact that anything hannibal is being made without anthony hopkins (never mind the two movies without him that already exist) is annoying and i hope it doesn't extend to the rp side of fandom
i don't give a shit about anthony hopkins. i love him as hannibal, but i am a book fan first.
what i am pissed about is that the will/hannibal ship already has a name. even more than the normal hair tearing that comes with is the fact that hannibal has a *canon* fucked up romantic relationship with an fbi agent, but the only thing i am ever going to see rped is this bullshit.
sorry some people have different ships, but I've been shipping will/hannibal long before the show and so have lots of people (there is fic for it from the books)
I don't ship hannibal/clarice, I do wish people would give it attention even with the new series because I know a lot of people do ship it, but I wish the fandom would stop acting like any other ship is destroying something sacred
