I'm with you. Then again, I'm not the one on the receiving end of the rejection, and we all know how big the difference is in reading it and receiving it.

Personally, I prefer rejections like theirs. I think they're way better than some I've seen, which either give no reason at all for the rejection or only give very vague reasons for it.

I didn't get a reject but I did get a pending. And they were VERY good at telling me exactly what they felt my app was lacking and what I should do to fix it. Which is nice because a lot games ask for revisions like 'We feel the personality section needs work' whereas they ask for revisions like 'We feel the personality section needs work, you have x aspect covered really well, but you really need a little more about y aspect.'

Makes it so much easier on me because I'm not pulling my hair out trying to figure out what they want.

I like that because to me, that's proof that an app is actually being read. I'm not saying it's always perfect (I have run across specific revision requests that made no sense), but it at least lets me feel that some effort is being expended.
