the one problem i had with dressing rooms is how possessive some people would get over who's doing what. and then if the continuity from one group spills into another group that ain't interested it can get nasty pretty damn fast.
memes might suck, and there's still people that bitch and moan about the flood of fandoms, but at least you can gather enough people to musebox something with or start a smallish game.
i've had partners of people i've tried rping with come in and snipe conversations and cut them off before they'd even started. it didn't really matter that my character wasn't trying to get in the other character's pants and was just trying to strike up actual gen cr, some people are insanely possessive about who can play with 'their toys'.
drs make it really hard to have fluctuating verses since some people just refuse to do more than one, so you either play in it or you don't get to play at all.
