and going "ew that is so gross, i can't believe you think that is sexy, you are probably a terrible person for wanting to do that"

one is acceptable and one is incredibly stupid

also i am pretty sure "buttsex is gross that is where poop comes from" is 80% of the rationale behind homophobia.

lesbian sex, at least, is more socially accepted if only for the fact that it's encouraged as a fetish for straight men

otherwise, lesbians have historically been ignored rather than persecuted. sex between women is more likely to be seen as 'not counting' because a dick isn't involved.
