I know it gets said a lot, but using a PB for an animated/comics character when there's literally tons of art for them to use.

I've seen people using LA PBs for Lana Kane, Dave Strider, Dorothy Wainwright...I can understand being picky about expressions, but really?

I've seen a couple Archer players. A Lana, Archer...I think I saw a Cyrill on D_M once?

why would you even need a lot of icons for dorothy? the point is that she linefaces 90% of the time, isn't it?

Yeah. She shows some emotion here and there, but her expressions in the actual show illustrate them well enough.

Ugh, yeah. It's especially awful when they use BOTH live-action PBs and canon art. Happens especially with western comics.

I can understand using both live-action PBs and canon art if you play someone who only appeared for like, three issues, but for characters like Iron Man or Jean Grey, there's really no reason to have live-action icons

Unless you play from the live action versions and even so in the case of some characters there's no need for the canon art since their movies have enough.

but you can't like the way the actual character looks and use icons that make them recognizable as that character? from the default icon I wouldn't have known that dave strider up there was supposed to be dave strider if someone hadn't SAID who he was
