That I find it extremely hard to focus on and tag my other threads if I'm waiting on a tag for a particular thread that I'm really excited about. It's not even like all my other threads are boring either, my brain just decides to fixate on that one thread and I get writers block for everything else.

This shit seriously drives me crazy and I want to know how to train myself to stop doing that and just write my other damn tags.

i'm tooo fucking impulsive and have the attention span of a ferret.

i don't mean to be super biased with how i tag but if there's one thread i'm really excited for i'll think of a reply a lot easier than for my other threads, even if i'm enjoying those too.

I neurotically worry about every tag I make with the impression the tag is boring, bad or not meeting the expectations of the person I'm tagging.

This slows my tags to a crawl and leads to frequent thread dropping.

i'll often sit on one tag for well over an hour or even a day, rewriting it again and again and trying to decide the best phrasing. and i know it annoys my friends, but i will go and ask them "is this okay?" so as to get approval for every tag.

Yep, even on memes.

I can't stick in a game if I can't get a single person invested in potential CR with me. This only gets progressively harder because I only have myself to blame for getting a rep for dropping after a month of playing because of this.

I fucking despise this about myself but it's so fucking hard to stick with it when I feel like I'm diddling with myself for weeks and waiting for someone to notice me.

i always worry im getting a bad rep as a serial apper/dropper but i just can't stick around if after a month everything is still just surface level small talk. i apped into a game with a canon best friend and still only got small talk and tags that moved at a snails pace. why am i even there then???

Ugh that's always the worst. I recently got invited to a game where there was one castmate, they plotted with me for the whole time I was writing my app and the second I got in, they lost interest in their muse and idled out.

That was the first time someone was invested in my arrival into a game in ages that fucking sucked ass

I hate it but I also know that if I'm excited for a thread that means my rp life is going great and there's minimal reason to be concerned.

It's when I'm not excited or waiting on a tag that I need to get worried.

I hate reading my own tags, especially if they're serious or smutty. This always results in going back to read something and finding a bunch of typos that I would have caught had I actually proofread my tags.

I also hate how neurotically concerned I am with what other people think of me and what I choose to play.

i don't think it's bad, per se; like everything else, it's about how you use it. some people would rather stop relying on them entirely. me, i just need to train myself not to use them so damn much.
