Welp.

There goes any desire to actually app here.

Because someone you don't like but could otherwise easily avoid is a mod--whose worst crime is that they would rather have fun than be 100% IC all the time to the point of obsession, being kind of bland and tagging out to a lot of people with a very social character?

Wow, you must have really wanted to app.

Considering she already seems to be abusing her mod power to infect the game with her shitty characters and the other mods went along with it? No thanks, I'll pass.

Or! The mods didn't see anything wrong with her app!

Bold accusations, you better have proof beyond, "She's a mod."

You sound like you're looking for a reason for her to be wanky. Are you that one grudgewanker who feels the need to mention her in every thread of every game she's in?

dude, her worst crime is being bland as eggshell white and active. it's not like they're a horrible wanky person. they're just dull. avoid them like anyone else with an ounce of reason and maturity does.

Exactly. There were tons of other bland people in EV and I'm sure there are here, too, so I don't see why it's such a big deal. Avoid her.

I do find it amusing that even her defenders agree she's ooc and bland as fuck, though.

which seems to back up the whole "not whiteknights" theory

...lmao.

honestly? they just started their brand new game with a very solid 90 or so characters who all seem to be having a good time so far.

i really don’t think they give a shit if you app or not.

oh shut up.

I don't want to have to play with someone like you with wank baggage anyway so i think we dodged a bullet.

It seems like they all have different duties. I know Amanda is their pirate lore mod and that's about it. One is a coding mod.

i think mostly they were there to help get it started, i'm not sure two of them even have characters in the game? we'll see if they last.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-10 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
a game that starts off with 90+ characters maybe?

Re: http://highseasmods.dreamwidth.org/3578.html

(Anonymous) 2013-09-10 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
seriously, this. at least they have a surplus of mods rather than a deficit; imagine if they only had two or three mods and the same tidal wave of applications!

Re: http://highseasmods.dreamwidth.org/3578.html

(Anonymous) 2013-09-10 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
The game opened on time, processed 90+ applications, and is (in my opinion) very well organized. Do they need seven mods? Maybe not, but if it keeps the game running smoothly, I'm all for it.

The last time I saw a game with a surplus amount of mods was the institute, and we all know how well that ended modwise. that said, while i bet its a pain to get all of them gathered together to discuss the game, as long as they are handling it well i don't give a fuck.

Re: http://highseasmods.dreamwidth.org/3578.html

(Anonymous) 2013-09-16 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
The difference with the institute is that only one mod was actually doing anything.
