Honest question about flight rising because I don't play it. Does it work on a timeline where things happen for various players at the same time? Like does it get updated at specific times for everyone or something? Because I swear, I mean I have mute and hide installed, and sometimes it'll be nice and peaceful and my timeline is fine. Then A HUGE CHUNK OF PLURKS from one point in time disappear.

there's a roll over when the game refreshes for new gatherings and hatchings/incubating from 12-12:30am PST, so a lot of people are on when it pops back up to do their nightly things before bed.
you might also be getting the home from work/school rush.
what the above anon said, and also there are hourly/multiple daily events that some people remark on, like if the trader dragon is doing a popular trade or whether or not Crim's trying to get rare expensive shit for next to nothing again.
personally, I don't plurk about it at all unless I have some hatchlings to sell or something totally amazing happens, which is basically never.
