except for the fact that ecats games don't WANT non-ecats people. mods and players at both aather and especially in deco openly dislike people from outside their circle and don't want new people to join.

I bought a paid time as a welcome present (it's something I do whenever I do the chances, so not a big deal) to the one teammate I got that was a total non-ecats once

most people actually like fresh blood, you're pulling this out of your ass

DA, but it's true for deco. haruto, the headmod, has openly stated he doesn't want outsiders (whether it be non-ecats or ecats he doesn't approve of) and institutes policies intended to keep those people out.

aather just has a bad case of favoring older players over younger players, which i imagine makes them feel unwelcome. but the players of aather, thusia, and now kyriakos seem more open in theory to fresh blood.

is instituting policies to keep players he doesn't approve of out all that different from policies to keep wankers out though?

I'm not saying there are no assholes, of course there are, but it's wrong to say the playerbase at large (and I'm talking across all games) is unwelcoming to players outside the circle and doesn't want them

there's a loud minority that thinks they're hot shit, yeah, but it's a minority
