The fact that Sae seems incapable of explaining her reasoning behind this development does help matters, nor does her attitude towards the end of those HMD comments.

She's well known for pushing ships and being overly protective of them. She's known for being impossible to speak with at times.

As mentioned up above, pretty sure it's under the EV thread, she even states in her comments that she's spoken with 'most' of her castmates and they apparently accept the characterisation of Isaac and the recent development with Castiel. She spoke with two of them on the HMD post. And yes, they did say that liked her Isaac but neither of them mentioned anything about the relationship.
