literally every single time i've seen "venting" plurks go ignored, people have thrown enormous tittyfits over not being acknowledged. it's so predictable it's sad and totally obvious they want validation, which isn't bad in itself, but fuck every last one of them for trying to manipulate people into giving it to them instead of straight up saying "hey guys i am having a supremely shitty day and could use some words/gestures of comfort."
