sigrid from awkwardtree and she did drop officially and there wasn't a dramatic pastebin, sadly, but she left this wtf message in another character's inbox.
tbh i couldn't even get through it all because it was late and i was going cross-eyed at the font and haven't been back since
tbh I think Eway's the best game currently running.
-active and friendly playerbase -low to no wank -good mods -active and engaging overarching plot -active and engaing player plots -good size & pace -a good mix of horror / survival / slice of life / crack / everything all around -interesting mechanics and setting.
I'm not surprised it's still going. it's the hidden gem of games.
so i'm pretty sure that despite somehow avoiding them my entire rp career, i've finally encountered a true and sincere soulbonder on my timeline and the more i read from them the more disturbed i get by their obsessive need to tl;dr into oblivion about the most inane details of their character
what are your soulbonder horror stories, anons? how did you cut yourself off from them and escape the madness? or are you still trapped in the void
One of the nastiest, most genuinely unpleasant individuals I've ever encountered in RP, and her coziness with the mods seems like trouble waiting to happen.
smut ac doesn't really mean squat. it depends on if the game will allow ftb or not. ophi prefers for you to play out sex. ariel insists on it. the new project game will be allowing ftb and they're doing a rotating smut ac.
this is a cyclic thing. i'm a pretty fast rper and i usually have my ac early but because i don't trust other players and other players are slow enough that nothing ends carry a lot of threads in attempt to get anywhere and have ac. so after being there about six months *i* am now one of those players who are stupid slow because i have a billion threads. because i'm trying to get anywhere and make sure i have ac.
yeah, my speed's gone way down since I upped the thread load. it's the worst self perpetuating cycle.
The only benefit is that I can afford a little more time to build up to the smut. It almost recreates the feeling of having some gen cr on the side, but not quite.
Agreed on all accounts, including major visibility/slowness in my main game and more of an under the radar situation in my other one, although my characters still have plenty of CR and get involved in things. Same with flakes who constantly claim they want to do things and want to rp and whatnot, but then never actually follow through, even if you go through the work of giving them ideas/plots/suggestions for things to do or work on that'd be good for their character and their CR.
I think ultimately, after a good time of playing in one place, you need to ask yourself something. If your character got dropped today, would anyone notice or care ICly? Would it affect anything at all? If the answer is a resounding no, and you're not, say, playing a crack character with little relevance beyond being fun to thread with sometimes, then you need to reconsider why you're in that game at all.
adding lots??? of unnecessary question marks??? because that usually means they're prone to over-the-top theatrics about tiny shit, and/or they're condescending assholes a lot of the time
Re: GAMES THAT ARE STILL ALIVE IN OUR YEAR OF THE LORD 2014
yeah it seemed to be all of that but i honestly couldn't give a single shit about ANY character on the taken list so i've been looking back at it for a few years and never apping
