i'm open to both straight and gay ships for nearly every char i play right?
well i played a guy from a canon that attracts batshit yaoi fans
i've played all sorts of ships in bakerstreet but some idiot kept wanking on me about being a pillow queen yaoi queen who's only putting ota so people wouldn't wank on me
even though i was doing shippy m/f threads???
i would've assumed they were just buttmad that i dropped their tag but it went on for months
that more than one game has this problem is a pretty bad sign.
dear flaky players, please reconsider your ability to play if making the literal bare minimum of ac is too much for you to do in a 28-31 day timespan. you are not participating and your presence will not be missed.
when you regularly plurk "i don't want to do my tags, i want to do meme stuff/voice test this new character" it makes me want your cr even less than i already do.
i have since taken a look at the cast roster, and yeaaaah. there are some of the silmarillion elves that definitely have enough in the books to write an app on, but not all of the ones in the game do. i absolutely agree that the characters like celebrian really are non-entities, as far as having enough canon to write an app on.
at the time i made the drive by question and got the response, though, I had not yet looked, and the way the anon replied to me made it sound like they just straight up didn't want non-main and non-movie characters because their source was boring and unrelatable. so I assumed that the complaints were pettier than they actually were. i'm sorry about that.
ok yes that makes sense, especially since i have now actually gone and looked at the cast list and.... yeah. non-entity is a good way to put it. that the mod at the time was letting pretty much anything in the canon pass makes a lot of sense for why, say, celebrian or sigrid ever were in to begin with
This has got to be Ruby City. AC is 15 tags total, and tags from both your character and the other count. So if you spread it out right (you can use two threads for AC), you can do as little as 7 tags and still pass AC.
Way back in the days of LJ, I was accused of being a backstabber. To this day I still don't know whose back(s) I stabbed or why. I was a dumb as shit teenager but I never talked shit about anyone and I never ~betrayed~ anybody.
someone thought i was stormy based on nothing but a 'looking for a game for x character' post i made on an rp secrets thread or something. it wasn't even a character stormy plays.
being 'old enough to get pregnant and therefor too old for rp'
I have a player who is really active and enthusiastic so I feel bad that they've become my pet peeve, but with every single event that goes up they always have a bunch of questions that amount to "can my character do something a little bit special and outside the boundaries you stated?". They always comment at least twice, and sometimes leave 5+ comments asking for special permissions over the course of a few weeks. We actually started writing event posts to be more flexible and allow players to tailor them more specifically to their characters, but this one player still finds multiple boundaries they want to poke at every single time.
Is there anything we can do to please you, player, or are you really just going to want special things to do no matter how open and flexible we make things? They're the only player that does this, and they never leave feedback when we ask how to improve our events.
did anyone ever call em out on this? it seems like she just kind of got away with it with zero consequences. huge faux pas and seriously unprofessional.
don't be obtuse. this isn't like "fanny". it's a word used to actively harm people. let's just not fucking use it, instead of stamping our feet about it and making excuses.
