there's a difference between playing him as a ladies man vs. playing him as slightly more comfortable with sexuality than he would be in canon. the first one is ooc, the second one is going to be inevitable in ariel thanks to both the way ac works as well as ic mechanics like the chip. even a character who's a blushing virgin in canon is eventually going to become somewhat desensitized to sex/nudity after spending months in sex city with a chip in their heads making them horny all the time.

and i've seen people accusing each other of playing characters as cockhops/vag divers/ladies men/whatever when the character was nothing close to the sort, but they weren't being played as a perpetual blushing virgin when that no longer made sense for their situation. at this point terms like "cockhop" and "vag diver" are basically meaningless anyway because nobody can agree on what they mean.

if someone doesn't want to join a game with 7 years of built up history, they should probably look for a game that's not 7 years old rather than demand an established game reset their setting just for them

Eh, normally I'd say it's harsh but if one of the mods has already had to deal with their idle-outs multiple times and people came forward with other games where they idled, I don't blame them for saying 'nah, don't wanna deal with you again'. Plenty of other players have apped and dropped quickly and aren't banned so there's obviously something bigger about this one. Sucks if this was the game of their dreams and they turned over a new leaf, but especially now that apps are limited I don't care if they don't want to give every chronic flake a chance to prove themselves.
