it's not been resolved. people are still pissed about the usernames. just because the mods make a comment doesn't mean it's the right one or that the matter's resolved. they did something based on whining. no one had a chance to respond to that. people are annoyed. it's not baseless since the person above gave a good example of why usernames are needed.
