before we go any further, i would like to hear what you think is a reasonable response to a mod deleting a game. let's take mental illness and any other reasoning on the mod's side out of the question for now. just your idea of a reasonable response, not what anyone else should or shouldn't do. where's your line?
i would also like to hear what you think harassment is. i don't feel like we can effectively communicate about this until i understand where you're coming from.
accused the the dave and gary player of "showing their ass" for expressing dissatisfaction at the way tora ignored their concerns for one entire week and talked shit about them behind their backs. called them pa assholes for refusing to accept tora's completely insincere apology.
she's not actually a mod though. she did nothing for the game. at all. other than create it. she was out of it as far as anyone was concerned, then came back and pulled owner's rights to delete it.
which, for me, is part of the fun of trying it out more than just once. sometimes the results are great. sometimes they're terrible and you want to cry. each version of those characters has an infinite possibility of outcomes, so while let's say x and y in one version were shippy, the next version they were just platonic, if not sibling cr, and the next one they were frenemies, and the next, they hate each other.
all interesting dynamics to play and just as fun as trying out non-canon ships/cr, imo. it's sort of the fun of playing in panfandom games and if you can find more than one version to play in memes? go for it.
it's okay, anon. i've seen people apping a character i played/used to play with major mistakes in their history section and even made in some of their threads that were clearly confirmed not only in canon, but it's available on their wiki page as well. for example: character's mother died when they were seven and was raised by a single parent, and this is a pretty big obvious fact made in the canon. but in an in-game thread i found they said that BOTH parents died when they were five.
i was tempted to hit up their hmd with it but pussied out. now it's been years so there's no point in getting hung up over it.
in cases like this, a harsh response is necessary to ensure that this person never, ever, ever pulls shit like this again and that people who are tempted to try know what will happen to them if they pull this shit themselves.
it's actually not that hard to find out who someone is playing with if they add their character name into the tags section on game posts. and someone would probably care if they were looking forward to cr with one/both of those players but they're only playing with one/their clique.
i read their response but you made it sound like there's some sinister stalking going on with the op's end.
define "a harsh response." my definition of harsh response and your definition of harsh response are probably very different, which is why we're not understanding each other. you need to be specific, please. what is a justified harsh response to a mod deleting a game?
i'm going to +.5 this comment because i agree with your sentiment about how the setting feels underutilized by both players (i accept this falls to me to be the change i want to see) and mods. the school aspect is well used, but the 'lovecraftian influences' feels like it's only there so they can say it's not purely japanese horror. like a token reference in an attempt to diffuse medium snobbery? i'm not sure how to explain it other than repeating 'underutilized'. (lack of urgency is a good point to bring up too, but that one's harder to balance...)
but for someone with a busy schedule, it's just enough to remain engaging without being overwhelming. and i appreciate that! especially during the busy fall months because between halloween, thanksgivings, christmas and exams fuck us right? fuck nano tho
might bring up the 'more ways to interact with the setting' concern to the mods in the hmd because like someone mentioned before, outside of events, we don't get a lot of lore to find. maybe that will change now that more areas of the school seem to be opening? one can only hope
you've never lived with big boobs have you. like the only thing that's illuminating her chest is the fact that she's large busted. it is kind of hard to avoid shooting her boobs if they want to frame her chest. if she had a cups this wouldn't be a conversation lmao.
if someone tries to find her home address and try to destroy her real life, then yes, that's way too far. nobody has done that, though, so this handflapping is pointless.
if you don't want to deal with dwrp, just leave. don't try to destroy everyone else's enjoyment in the process. and don't expect people not to get theirs back if you do.
