this is a legitimate thing to freak out over, but you freak out over absolutely everything, so the contrast is a little lacking.

i've been in lj/dwrp since 2007 and i've seen maybe a couple handfulls of people who knew how to balance 3+ characters without squatting on some or making them all samey/horribly ooc

theres a difference between bullying someone and pointing out that their behavior is destructive and they need to seek help. the way she acts isnt good for her or the people around her and she needs real help.

in the last few weeks, this person has been making rp mood crash plurks that happen to coincide with my active plotting/rp plurks. they'll be discussing video games or anime in another of their plurks, i'll start talking to someone about a psl idea or game cr in my plurk, and they suddenly plurk something like "i don't think people like tagging me like they say they do. /sigh".
it's happened four or five times now. if they came into my plurks to plot and i snubbed them, it would be one thing. but they've only shown up in one plotting plurk to say that they hadn't watched the canon the character i was discussing things for was from.

no, you didn't. slaine isn't supposed to be like this at all. he's the dumb puppy of the show and saying otherwise is ridiculous. he's known for his plans foiling most of the time and the "notto disu shitto agen" meme because of his terrible luck and decisions.
the way this chick plays him is as if he's a genius 2smart4u shounen protag, which isn't how he is at all. yes while he did man up by season 2, that hasn't really changed towards the end when the "notto disu shitto agen" resurfaces and hits him in the face once more.
slaine has always been highly emotional as a character and that was his main charm and highlight, the opposite of inaho. but with how That Slaine is, he's just another inaho 2.0.

a character can still be complicated and interesting even if you have them move on from thirsting for some guy's boner tho

sure, as an OC player I could go elsewhere. but why would I when I prefer the rp culture DW has over that on other sites? our format is much preferable to forum or AIM rp and like hell if I'm touching gaia, f-list, etc.
I don't understand the "dwrp is a fandom rp space" rhetoric when OCs have been a thing here since the very first days of LJ. it's not like they rammed themselves into a space not built for them. fandom players who insist DWRP should be fandom only just sound entitled.
