So how long until you think undertales will make their own fucking themed game like the homestucks and the SUfans did with Jarjammed and Cosmo respectively.
will it be a huge trainwreck y/n? I already had plenty of laffs at jarjammed and cosmographia's expense, an undertale circlejerk would be 100/10 would popcorn again.
honestly with all the awful undertales around, I think a quarantine game might be a good idea? JJ served it's place as a homestuck pigpen so I think one for undertales might be good.
But dear lord, it would be such a glorious trainwreck. it was so quickly get infested by animus and any LAs that play there would get flaked on in favor of the undertale/anime circlejerk.
I don't think you're inactive if you don't do at least 100 tags every single month but at the same time I don't get where people are getting the idea that only ecats taggers do that much. There are bonus AC rewards at my game and plenty of people do 200+ comments reliably every single month without resorting to one word tags. Heck, I only do one round of tags a day and I get well over 100 per month done.
If you're the type of player that likes to do 500+ word tags on the regular then yeah it might be tough, but there's a big middle ground between one word tags and that. A 50-200 word tag can be well written, contain hooks, and move the story along. Unless it's a really important character development thread I rarely see the need for super long tags.
similar memes, based on a very cursory review of stuff posted since the beginning of the month:
with your favor = courtly love = bodyguard what you can never have = a taste of what you could never have appearances don't matter = xenophilia hentai tropes = paizuri what is this feeling = secretly selectively sweet = tsundere couple you are not my enemy = rescue romance = captivity = mutual captivity unexpected domesticity = tamed carrying your torch = infatuation = totally taken = big fat crush fighter/master = sentinel/guide jailbait = age gap = daddy kink patch you up = nursed back to health = hurt/comfort innocence worth protecting = should be chaste should be scared = monster and maiden fair incest = twin soulmate = taboo
there's also overlap between these categories (for instance, bodyguard-themed memes tend to overlap with "what you can't have" memes or "should be chaste" memes.)
i didn't go through the options of the larger memes, so there are probably even more cases where a single-option meme is covered by the options of a larger meme. many of these single-option memes are very specific and would be much more effective as options within a larger meme. for instance, how many characters can really play in a twincest meme? why not just have twincest as an option in a larger incest meme?
i spend about 20 min on an average prose tag, but there's still no way i could do four tags a night every night unless conditions were perfect and the other player and i could just boomerang. and that gets exhausting after a while.
i prefer to be a lcw because cross canon cr is my favorite. i don't mind gaining one or two castmates, but when it gets to be more than that, it's a little overwhelming, especially when they're super close castmates that my character wouldn't ignore. those times it feels like all i'm doing is tagging them when i'd rather be tagging other characters. there's also pressure to match already established relationships and if you happen not to click with the player of the other character, threads can be like pulling teeth.
well certainly yours wouldn't, obviously, since you can't seem to think your way out of a paper bag.
long tags don't necessarily equal quality, but quality tags would definitely be longer than a couple words long and would take more than a few minutes of thought.
but wait first, what does pretentious even mean in this comm? i've seen it used for things like "having a game page hosted on gdocs" so i think people are working with some fucked up definitions
I can write a decent length tag in 5 minutes or so. The only time it's taken me a really long time to think of an appropriate response has been when I'm playing off of someone who gives no hooks, or when I'm struggling with my character's voice.
I appreciate that it's not going to be the same for everyone but it is possible to be a fun, engaging, and IC player without spending 30 minutes or more per tag. There is a middle ground between that and couple-word ecats crap and plenty of people in that middle ground are just as good as the people who take longer.
i was considering it because i was interested in apping korra there months ago, but idk if i wanna go through with challenging esp if lock has pull with the playerbase.
if she's playing book 4 korra it's prob gonna be a huge mess.
now can you do that for 100 tags minimum for all your games, since supposedly according to wg, ac is the bare minimum and if you don't do more than ac, you should still be kicked out of the game?
