I've been doing much better! I'll never get the money back, but everything else will recover in time, my counselor's done wonders.
I hope your friend gets the chance to pull back together too. It's hard to move on from people like this, or even get away from them, but the first step is making the break!
To me it's because a vast majority of the time, a character being heterosexual isn't such a massive part of their character to me that playing m/m or f/f makes them unrecognizably OOC. If all the other personality traits are there, they're still that character, not an OC. It's one of those things that people fudge a bit for the sake of fun, like a villain player toning down the frequency of their character's evil deeds or an introverted character being a little more outgoing for the sake of getting threads. Is it OOC? Sure. Is it "practically an OC now" tier OOC? Most of the time no.
he's unpleasant and not in an engaging way. seeing people flock to his network post just so they post sj stuff like it's their personal tumblr was cringeworthy
I don't pay attention to tdms because I'm actually very active in my game and therefore don't really need to start up a bunch of new threads that aren't even going to be game canon
avoided the post myself just because so much ooc was going on. so obv how many people were using their chars for mouthpieces to show how tolerant and openminded they are
laughing at all the people going "WELLL YOU DON'T HAVE TO PLAY IT OUT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO" in this thread
sorry kids, but if you hate a character's canon romance so much that you can't even be bothered to show an IC progression of them moving past it, you shouldn't be playing that character.
uh, no. even if they were keeping an eye on this person (though apparently they've been contacted repeatedly), making sure someone else doesn't get abused is not at all the same as serially abusing people
