Well, no game would let someone have 0 tags for a month without a good reason for hiatus.

the code is blank. you have to fill in everything from the images to the html color codes you want. and if it isn't the right size you have to adjust that yourself as well. you don't even get the base colors this person used for the original navigation code.
the layout by pagans just says not to take out the style credit. if trace did, that's on her. and honestly so what if she has had a code made by them? she isn't parading around telling people she coded the layout. as i already pointed out she is being straightforward about doctoring the layout for you for a fee.
you can't rip someone off if you're being straightforward about doctoring their codes. it'd be different if it said on either codemakers page not to use their stuff for commission. hell, the layout coder even admits the layout is a bitch to navigate. the only thing trace is guilty of is being an asshole, and this is assuming she didn't ask anyone if she could use their stuff for pretendy funtimes backgrounds and layouts.

that's more of the OC's players fault for not sticking with a game or thinking up a interesting premise. you said it yourself, there's plenty of OCs to go around, and it should work.

you have no idea what dw's base css code looks like, do you? it takes a lot of cleaning up just to make it look like it's been stripped down because there are a shit ton of inherited values and you have to delete and recode each one of those to get a uniform "all white" look. it's a lot of time to clean up codes and make them ready for customising. she's making money off someone else's work, which is amazing considering the layout coder themselves takes coding commissions.

she's making money off of customising a free resource. let's be clear on that. if the layout coder wants to make the money, fine that's cool but then they need to line that out in their rules for using the code so this doesn't happen to them.

I used to play a character who said "bitch" fairly often and after literally over a year of playing this character I got screamed at by a fellow player who called the character a misogynist (the problematic language is their only real misogynist trait) and me a misogynist for playing them and said I was straight-up triggering them every time I posted about his good qualities because he's obviously the scum of the earth.
