Yeah, I'm talking about more like...most of us are weebs here and a lot of anime revolves around teenagers, so you could legitimately smear someone as an RL pedophile on Tumblr because they played smut with some teenage animu (or a Homestuck character or whatever) and get people actually agreeing with you.

No, it's not just you. There's very little he gets involved in that isn't immediately connected to whiny gay drama, but sometimes Pepper will pop her head into the middle of plots that she ignored while they were being put together to whine about not feeling connected to the game and also how does she shove Luke into the center of it despite the fact that she'll ignore that too if Sinjir isn't involved?

i know exactly which game you're talking about and everything about that situation is a grade-a mess. some eight people on the mod team and not a single one of them are remotely competent.
There have been a few anons who are very much of the opinion that if you play underage smut, you're a pedophile. Doesn't matter if it's two teens or characters from canons where a younger age is considered an adult or even if it's a player's way of coming to terms with their own past trauma. Nope, always a pedo if someone under 18 is involved. They don't even seem to get how flawed their logic is. I think a big part of it is that many people in this hobby have a serious issue with IC/OOC divide and the same people who think this are the ones who will cry because your character is mean to theirs.
