I am the most pompous person when it comes to telling people to watch or read my canon, but that's usually because I know my friends' tastes pretty well, so I know who's actually going to enjoy the canon. Usually, I either get new canonmates to play with or at least someone new to gush about the fandom with. And like the above, I definitely get the biggest fat head from people telling me they watched something specifically because of my character. It has happened four or five times now.

i remember reading somewhere that asami was actually supposed to betray the group and at some point they changed their minds (it's been forever, idk how accurate that is) and honestly i feel like if they'd stuck with their original idea i could've gotten behind the ship way more. i'm a sucker for villain slowly being won over to the side of good and then falling for the hero, what can i say.
