I hate the sadistic shota archetype. Ouma, Scaramouche, that pink vampire bitch from nu carnival. Worst archetype that everyone keeps eating up because these shitty characters can never develop or get their comeuppance because looking cute and just being a bitch is all they have. It gets old so fast.

Abusive moody dudes who are either smug or played off as tsundere who always bully a guy who's eager to please or kinda stupid. I haven't gotten up to him yet but I know I'm going to hate Jouno from BSD because of the way he treats his partner and when people think verbal abuse is just ~being a tsundere~. Same thing with the main couple from xxxallergy where one guy is the uke's boss and the young guy is just eager to please but has to apologize and get punished for not sensing the seme's mood swings. I wouldn't care if they were acknowledged to be abusive, but people seem to think a dude being moody and always wanting to punish someone for not doing what he wants is cute and not just creepy.

there's always some anons around who like to pretend they're above it all and they just make shit up about people ignoring female characters or poc to sound smug, even if they're just plain wrong. like the anon who said nobody played the woman from suicide squad, even though i saw a bunch of her on bakerstreet when the movie dropped, or the anon trying to say nobody cared about the girls from arcane even though they're also all over bakerstreet. the encanto anon was dumb because people tried explaining to them that it was because the new covid variant ramped up and people weren't going to the theaters, and of course encanto blew up once it actually hit disney plus, so they just looked like a moron.

lol speak for yourself. name some examples of male characters who act like this and i guarantee someone here will start bitching about how much they suck too. i can't think of one who hasn't gotten some kind of hate on wg unless they're too niche for anyone to give a shit

anon i'm fascinated by the characters you chose in all these examples. scaraouche as an angry shota who gets away with being a bitch because he's cute?? maybe in fanon work, but he's basically treated like a monster in the game, and it's heavily implied he'll be developed/redeemed since he'll be playable. at most he "gets away with" things because the story is ongoing. and the anon above already covered ouma.

and literally no one in the bsd fandom would consider jouno to be tsundere lmao?? so idk where the fuck that impression came from. he's literally just supposed to be the hunting dog's version of dazai. the manga goes out of its way paint him as a monster, despite the fact that his actions are somewhat justified based on the information he has. and the moment he realizes that information may be wrong, he nearly dies trying to find the truth. there are plenty of reasons to dislike this character but "rude to his partner and tsundere" is so off-base with canon that i have a hard time believing anyone would be rping them this badly.

are these characters even widely played enough to have because of dwrp, or do you just hate specific players??

those characters have popped up on bkst memes lately so anon has probably been stewing about how much they hate them for awhile now

+1 we've had several threads complaining about people who play gilgamesh (bad person with godlike powers), bbc sherlock and house (insufferable super geniuses that people only tolerate because he's necessary), and bakugou (teen bully that everyone puts up with because it's a shounen manga). these characters are all male, all some kind of smug asshole ranging from "outright evil" to "raging dick" in terms of morality, and all get massive aggro on wg

I'm sad because there was an Oma who tagged a lot on memes and since the shitty person has been bitching about him they haven't posted as much. Aster is from a relatively new canon and there's one posting around on memes too now so the hater anon is probably really pissed about it for some reason and trying to get them to go away too.

There were a few really bad omas when v3 came out, I remember that much.

I hope they come back too because I personally like ouma.
