the letters have been particularly pathetic this post, and not even in a funny/amusing sort of way. just pitiful, even by wg standards.

my money is on genshin. there's at least one anon here experiencing routine blistering buttfury about genshin

Genshin, ffxiv, and to a way lesser extent arcane are the main fad things right now.

None of the more recent mcu offerings really blew up here outside of a few more lokis because of the show

absolutely genshin, i'd argue it's usurped fate/go at this point. i don't think anyone's all that interested in arcane besides LESBEANS and that'll die off eventually. i barely even see steven universe characters around anymore and that was the last big LESBEANS show.

can ffxiv really be flavor of the month if no one plays the actual characters, only the malleable protagonist that nobody wants to tag?

a bunch of people are playing hy-whoever. can't spell his name and i don't play ffxiv but i see him around a lot.

Definitely bigger since you have a bunch of fgos and all the people who wouldn't normally play from gacha but have themselves convinced genshin is different

It's also really easy to get play since everyone plays the same handful of popular characters so ships and otps are always readily available. Can't blame people for flocking to it

nah as a genshin hater, personally I love cute real anime there's no correlation there

yeah i see hythlodaeus and emet selch around a lot now that EW is out (bc ppl ship them) but most of the npc players have gone back into hiding from the WoLs who use them as cum rags

the fgo crowd was and is obnoxious as fuck, like hands down some of the worst players and people i've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. it does seem like most of them have moved onto genshin which is fine by me since that makes them much easier to avoid.

Lots more women play from Genshin too I've noticed. I've always known FGO to be a very male fandom, thus more male players from it. I'm sure some of them also moved to Genshin, but it feels like there's more Genshins over all since it's women and men playing them.

Ime I've met more female fate players than males, but the guys stand out more because they tend to be the worst
