if someone ship pushed a relationship in a game it would be called out or reported to the mods, but nobody blinks when a kid character starts to talk about someone else being their "dad" or their "mom".

some people are uncomfortable with that anon, for good reasons and reactions like this are why players in this community keep getting away with it.

if it's your character, ask them to stop. if it isn't your character, is it really any of your business?

when it happened to me, I asked them to stop and they ignored me and kept pushing for it and referring to the relationship like that in plurks/OOC. I ended up just dropping the CR and ultimately the game.

Then you have more problems than a character pushing for mom/dad cr that's like three problems at once it's not the best judge/example of the specific thing anons are talking about

This may be a petty bitch but it's the peeves thread for a reason.

I've come to hate how it's normal now to abbreviate canons in meme subjects. I guess things like MCU made sense at the time because its long and sometimes you need more space to type your characters name but now people from the most obscure things do it, and sometimes with canon names that are short anyway so there's no point in abbreviating them. If I'm unfamiliar with the canon and the abbreviation of the title isn't coming up in Google searches it makes it difficult to figure out whos on the meme for me. And not everyone does this I've even seen video game players type out the long ass names of their canons but then some obscure manga or book character will abbreviate theirs I guess so it looks more aesthetically pleasing in the header or something? I mention the obscure stuff because someone will say how popular canon abbreviations are normal and that's whatever but not really what I'm talking about.

This is second only to the people who put like "that one x show" or some kind of canon in joke in the subject instead of the actual title in levels of annoying for me.

I had someone do exactly this thing to me too, even when I told them my character had a living mom back home and wouldn’t call anyone else mom because that’s weird, and also they barely knew each other. It’s just as ship pushy as any romantic relationship.

That said I still don’t hate the team mom/dad trope. Just ship pushers. It can be done right and be a lot of fun.

(“Why didn’t you go to the mods?” I was the mod and especially at the time punishing someone for bothering me specifically would have gone over like a lead balloon in dwrp.)

She's not ugly, just kind of... plain? I also find her nerdy-witty-quippy ~*not like the other girls*~ take on MJ kind of grating but I'm probably in the minority there.

well the MJ take isn't her fault, it's down to the writer/director/editor of the movie, so holding that against the actor is a pretty stupid thing to do

yeah. i recently saw the actress in some jewelry ad and she literally took my breath away. cheesy but true!

she was in this long, red dress with her long curls left loose down her back. my god

that's fine anon, but to me the weird "awkward XXXD" half smirk looking away thing makes her look like the trollface as op so graciously offered as an example. i couldn't place what it made me think of and it's 100% that. maybe if it was from a different angle or the shadows on her face were different, but now i can't unsee it.

you mad someone's looking for reasons to rp? tag them or don't but running here to tell us that someone's being a slutty whore just smacks of how jealous you are someone's getting dicked down and you aren't, even in fake pretend times.
