Back when I modded, it was a mix of drama that stayed quiet, poor comod behavior, and irrefutable proof that things anoncomms thought was "true" was a pack of lies. I do not miss the nights spent debating whether it was worth releasing info that would clear someone in the court of public opinion at the risk of admitting that we could see what people were smearing out in public. I was always pretty impressed by the mod teams that could find a way to put out official statements without outing specific details. It's a hard line to walk.
