i'd argue the game wasn't bland, just flat out bad

like in an entertaining sort of way, but ime anyone who plays from it takes it 100% seriously and is therefore 100% insufferable because they refuse to acknowledge the cage-shaped elephant in the room: that this man fucking sucks at making video games, always has and always will
