You're such a good person and soft soul, it's why I can't tell you this, because I don't want to risk spreading this misery to you or causing you to worry this is your fault (and I do not think we are close enough, either). It's not. I fear it would just make things worse when I have seen this so many times before, and the kindest solution is the difficult one.

Everyone moves on to new things eventually. Other people look more shiny, are more interesting, other characters are more fun to bounce off of, etc. I don't blame anyone for that, but does it ever just feel bad to no longer be one of the people you reach for to do things with. And I am tired of doing the reaching at this point. Tired of coming up with the ideas. Tired of asking while you actually go out of your way for others. That speaks for itself to me. Especially when it's been going on long enough, I can see for myself this isn't in my head.

The best thing to do is look for others to rp with, which is reasonable, and likely best for us both, but it is hard. I wish it wasn't. Take care, rp friend.
