getting to the "hi my name is..." part of first threads is so annoying. sometimes i will just assume introductions happened in later threads if it never comes up naturally in our first one, and the other player is usually cool with handwaving that.

the only thing i hate more is playing the whole arrival of a new character to a game. i am just baffled by game hoppers who do nothing but this boring process over and over.
