honestly i feel like its even weirder than that in this case. because of all the "extreme" kinks it's the only one that isn't fantastical, definitely has caused suffering to actual members of the community, and has an extra layer of shocking that makes most people irl shocked if you bring it up. the only other thing that's even in the vicinity is (adult) rape kink, but for better or worse, most rpers are not as disgusted by that as by pedo.

so whether or not you play pedo, you have to be aware of this social context. as a pedo player, either you think irl pedophilia is bad or not. if you think it's bad, you probably would understand why most people wouldn't want to see anything to do with it. if you don't think it's so bad that other people's shocked discomfort about a serious IRL problem that may have affected them personally should affect your playtime at all, that THEY are the ones who need to take steps, i really wonder about you.
