i think two critical points for me are whether you are shit stirring in connection to playing in the game, and whether others in the game can opt out of your behavior.

if your anxiety makes you a frontrunner in the plurk misery olympics, and you need constant asspats to tag your clique, i wouldn't really interfere because your friends can choose not to interact with you and feed into your vicious cycle without imperiling their ability to play in the game. but if your anxiety pushes you to spread malicious rumors and ostracize a player because you think they looked at you funnily on a cr meme once, i'd have to tell you to dial it down, because at that point you are directly threatening their fun.
