I'm sure it will last a while longer. You've got a perfect storm of players who know and are OK with it, players who have no idea, and the sad strange ones that don't like it but will twist themselves into pretzels coming up with reasons to stay.

it's laid out in the plurk too that while listing 'black' and 'bitch' as charater traits is absolutely the most jaw-droppingly offensive aspect of the app, the problem goes beyond that to how this player looked at a woman that happened to be both abrasive and black and decided that those two must be directly connected despite the canon never implying this - something that the mods themselves brought up, so clearly they're aware that the issues stem far beyond just 'teehee didn't understand what traits mean whoopsies'. and then they just...forgot about it for the reapp i guess??? even though the player has clearly shown no sign of acknowledging how their initial app was incredibly reductive and problematic since it's the exact same aside from redoing the traits???

Given what we've seen of the behavior of everyone involved and that the mods themselves were in this plurk agreeing with Min, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Luc and co reported Min for bullying and the mods issued a warning because they're too wishy-washy to tell their friends no.

They even addressed the criticism from R's friend. And honestly, that's some balls to step in and speak up for their racist friend, but maybe they didn't know the depths? Because my opinion is it wasn’t done very well. I don’t think they did a good job. I found it hard to engage with.
