this is it for me, i feel like it hasn't been that long and then i finally get back to my inbox and it's been over a month

other than that it's usually endless procrastination or forgetfulness

this is me. the honest intention to participate was there, but the reality of turning my intention into real tags didn't work out like i hoped.

eventually i stopped joining games because i saw the pattern and it's really not fair to the people can can keep up with a game.

i have this issue as well. my perception of time is apparently way off so i have to stick with meme/psl rpers who don't mine one tag a month or some other crazy slow pace.

i've participated in games and managed to keep up for a while (probably due to the excitement of something shiny and new), but eventually i run out of steam and start taking longer and longer between tags. doesn't bother me, but doesn't work in a game setting.

i still feel tempted to join games ALL THE TIME, but i've learned to resist.

i met more than a few friends i made from rp in person, and also am in a relationship with someone i first befriended through rp years ago. for me, the key in it being a good experience is only meeting up with people i know really well and feel comfortable interacting with already oocly. there are rpers in my area that i know of but that isn't enough for me to justify meeting them if we don't have an established relationship.
