i think it's also because many mods are shifting to private/invite only, too. public games attract a lot of bad apples, cause more unnecessary work that whatever reward they get from modding feels less and less.

I don't know. If another player (since this one already withdrew their app) insisted on getting a door pass without following the really easy instructions, I think it's a telling sign of what they'll be like when they're in the game, which is they'll start testing boundaries when they can and even encourage others to do the same.

rules are rules, and unless it's absolutely necessary to bend them, I think mods enforcing them no matter how arbitrary they seem is a good thing because everyone will be shown how seriously they take them, so players actually follow them.

Yeeep. It's a rehash of Little Hades/Penance/etc right down to characters having angel or demon features calling it now. Modding 2 games at the same time is an odd choice with how much I remember Milk complaining about being a mod and barely having energy for rp. I hope Deer Country doesn't immediately die, I enjoy the Bloodborne setting and my cr. :(
