yes this is why is became a meme because when someone was being stupid and pedantic about spelling or literally anything people would go "hi, rebutle" as in, the behavior of anons reminded them of rebutle being pedantic and obtuse

p. much. empatheias always had a rule for mmo ocs that was "no ocs who are considered to be the singular protagonist of their game," which meant that wols weren't allowed but generic ffxiv ocs were fine. she tried to app as a wol anyway, got turned down and told she could reapp next app cycle as a general ffxiv oc, and then from what i heard she threw a huge fit that ended in her being banned. i didn't have her friended but i was in emp at the time so i heard about the drama.

We did! We logged in and chatted about our friends and good players. Plenty of people cringily admitted their crushes on fellow players. When people were wanky they were very wanky, but it wasn't an inherently awful place.
