Re: BLUE / WEEFOLK

blue is... well, harmless but also an annoyance? there are players who get so passionate about a single character that it's their entire personality. blue is like that. currently she is very deeply involved with doctor who, as in she has seen everything ever aired, read/listened to every audio book or comic, and can tell you how many times a companion has been seen by the numbers. or can explain to you why the 14…(15+?) doctors are like this or that compared to cheesecake. she has met almost all the living actors for each of the doctors, spent money on signatures and props, and her home is decked out in “who” everything. she does in fact cosplay as 10/14, but also, his costumes were so simple that it's no big deal. her students seem to enjoy her antics. she goes out often with local friends to doctor who events, always dressed up, and posts fun looking pictures. socially awkward but out there.

in other words, she is a super fanatic, of the highest degree. a blackbelt stan, if you well.

she is mostly harmless... depending on who you are and how you handle people with a (possibly self proclaimed, possibly diagnosed?) slight mental illness/disability. she is apparently "on the spectrum" and her hyper focus tends to be on fictional things. she relates her own troubles through the characters she plays. and let's face it, most of us play for escapism, and there are a ton of rpers out there that turn their character depressed, or gay, or with scars, or overly happy, or just... whatever fits their needs. it's rp. it happens.

however.... she can get really fucking annoying over it. she will plurk post 4 to 12 times a day, pinging people for the smallest things. stuff most people post as private plurks, like "[personal profile] soandso ten really adored the flowers!" ... to which no one else has any context. at all. and then a minute later, because she did another tag to someone else... she posts another plurk with a cryptic open to the public reply. it gets really annoying. mix in two or three cryptic doctor who plurks, or a somewhat sweet post about a student who drew a picture of the doctor for her, and it gets really crowded. they have had to be told, many times, especially back with siren's port, mask or menace, high seas, deerington, and a few others that she did not need to "@" a person every single comment they made in her own plurk. she has gotten better about that, but she still plurk floods.

and of course there is the whole english teacher who has a hard time getting... a lot. or how poorly she writes replies. there are no long replies for anyone. she is a very short one or two sentence, no emotion, just convo or text kind of rper, which a lot of the generation of older rpers stepped away from. top it off with it being hard to understand some/most posts, and she makes for a very hard to rp with writing partner. (note: if you contact her asking her to explain a tag because you do not understand, she does try to make it clear? but even then you might be lost)

so while i personally do not have a problem with her, i also do not actually roleplay with her anymore. she can be sweet, and she is very knowledgeable with doctor who, even if her characterization can be lacking. but i wouldn't say she 'bad talks' people, at least not publicly as far as i can tell? it always feels more like soft whining that she doesn't understand why she's banned or why people are mean.

that said, i also might not see all the other things people are seeing. i want to be clear, i do not mean to discredit others' comments with all this. this is just the things i have seen over the last...forever of being on dwrp. i've also gotten really good at ignoring her plurks, so i miss things.

tl:dr - mostly harmless, but has her bad spots. not a good writer even for a english teacher, but honestly she doesn't seem malicious or mean. also i have noticed if she tags you and you ignore it with no comment, she doesn't seem to notice and carried on with life.

best to stay away if you have no patience, but if you don’t mind bad writing and crack? it doesn’t hurt.

as a heads up, i do believe she is playing as 14 (10 on repeat) now on a new journal, but I am unsure which it is.
