I went and looked it over again and I do think the answer is likely poor social skills. didn’t Jade have multiple mods added as friends on her personal account? I cam really easily see the line of logic beginning “oh, it’s going to look really cold if we don’t acknowledge that we as people know this is a time of year associated with bad memories for her” leading to a somewhat tone deaf statement. But I could also easily see anons here savaging the mods for ignoring that Jade might have been going through a hard time. Seems like a lose lose situation.
